UPDATE: Two Beacon Hill homes to go to auction at multi-million $ prices

More information on the auction of two homes in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston.

As mentioned earlier, Peter and Elizabeth Georgantas are going to be putting the single-family home at 20 Brimmer Street, Boston, up for auction on March 3, 2010. There is a minimum bid set at $5 million.

There is also a second property going up for auction. This property is located at 25 Lime Street, #1, Boston. According to information posted on MLSPIN, the minimum bid is $1.195M. Winning bidder will have to post a $50,000 deposit and ten percent of the Gross Sales Price (High Bid plus Buyers Premium) within five (5) business days after the auction. Closing must occur no later than April 9, 2010.

The Lime Street property, a condo, has approximately 2,373 square feet of living space, two bedrooms plus a study and a home gym room, and two and a half baths. It was originally listed for sale at $2,225,000 in April 2009 by Sprogis & Neale Real Estate.
